Crisis Response – We operate hotlines: a regional hotline for women, Israel’s only national hotline for male survivors, including men from the religious and ultra-Orthodox communities. Our hotlines respond to more than one-third of all crisis calls in Israel, providing immediate emotional support, crisis intervention, information, referrals, and guidance.
Individual Support & Case Management – We provide individualized, trauma-informed support tailored to each survivor’s needs, including emotional support, case management, medical, legal, and police accompaniment, assistance navigating rights and public systems, referrals to specialized services, and ongoing support throughout the recovery process.
Support Groups & Therapeutic Programs – We offer professionally facilitated support groups for diverse survivor populations, including survivors of childhood sexual abuse, mothers, women coping with addictions or eating disorders related to trauma, incarcerated women, and Israel’s only ongoing support groups for male survivors. Therapeutic programs include art therapy, yoga, DBT, bibliotherapy, and dialogue groups.
Men’s Program – We operate Israel’s only national program dedicated exclusively to male survivors of sexual violence, providing a national hotline, individual support, accompaniment, support groups, professional consultation, and public awareness initiatives while reducing stigma surrounding male sexual violence.
Prevention, Education & Outreach – Prevention is central to TASACC’s mission. We educate adolescents, parents, educators, soldiers, workplaces, universities, municipalities, youth organizations, religious communities, and LGBTQ+ communities. Programs promote healthy relationships, consent, healthy boundaries, bystander intervention, and the prevention of sexual violence.
Sexual Assault Professional Training – TASACC serves as a national resource for professionals, providing trauma-informed training for physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, teachers, police officers, investigators, prosecutors, judges, mental health professionals, employers, municipalities, and government agencies. We also deliver workplace sexual harassment prevention training and consultation.
Training Future Generations – In collaboration with academic institutions, TASACC helps prepare the next generation of psychotherapists and professionals specializing in sexual trauma. Through internships, field placements, mentoring, and supervised practical training, students gain hands-on experience in trauma-informed care.
Volunteer Program – Highly trained volunteers are central to TASACC’s work. Volunteers complete an intensive training program and receive ongoing supervision and professional development while staffing hotlines, accompanying survivors, supporting educational programs, and participating in community outreach.
Public Policy & Community Partnerships – Beyond direct services, TASACC promotes systemic change through public policy, legislative advocacy, professional guidelines, and cross-sector collaboration. We work closely with hospitals, welfare services, police, prosecutors, courts, municipalities, government ministries, universities, NGOs, and the National Association of Rape Crisis Centers to strengthen Israel’s response to sexual violence and advance survivor rights.
