The Crisis Center offers a wide range of therapeutic support groups for survivors and their supportive networks, providing a safe space to process the trauma and cope with its effects. The groups are facilitated by experienced professionals specializing in group facilitation and working with survivors of sexual trauma.

Our Impact

“I think that when you’re not alone, you’re able to get through the difficult and unpleasant process of filing a complaint. I felt like I had an army of women by my side, women who believed me and understood what I was going through. When I walk out of the courtroom, I have someone to hug.”

– Shaylee Atary

“I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the journey I went through as part of the group. The sessions held up a mirror to many aspects of myself and helped me confront issues I had struggled to address, which I am now processing in individual therapy. I feel that I have made significant progress in my life.”

– A participant in the men’s support group

“Volunteering at the center gives me a sense of purpose and the joy of giving.”

– A volunteer on the women’s hotline

“It truly reassured me to understand that the first time should happen with consent.”

– A student in the “Together” program

“When I called the hotline, for the first time, I felt as though I was landing on a cloud.”

– A caller to the men’s hotline

“The sessions with the crisis center were amazing, enriching, and full of knowledge, with a genuine desire to help and provide students with an essential source of information.”

– Educational Counselor, Tichonet High School
