The Association of Rape Crisis Centers are here for you

Our Activities

The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel (ARCCI) is the umbrella organization for the nine rape crisis centers across Israel, providing immediate and ongoing support for survivors of sexual violence.

ARCCI leads the national coalition and operates at the systemic and national levels to promote the rights of survivors and to reduce the prevalence of sexual violence.

Lobbying – Policy and Legislation Advocacy

For over three decades, ARCCI has been actively engaged in decision-making arenas to drive policy changes, improve services and rights for survivors of sexual violence, and reduce the prevalence of the phenomenon.

Legal Advocacy – Petitions and Judicial Proceedings

ARCCI’s legal department initiates and participates in petitions and key legal proceedings that shape legal policy regarding sexual violence. These efforts lead to both normative and practical changes in how the legal system addresses sexual offenses and ensures the protection of survivors’ rights, as well as the interests of society as a whole.

Our Impact

"When you experience sexual violence, especially if you choose to report it, you find yourself completely alone—facing the perpetrator, and sometimes even facing systems that protect them while harming you. The power imbalance is overwhelming, but thanks to the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel, that gap is bridged. You are no longer alone—you are supported by women who truly understand the deep impact of what happened to you in every aspect of your life."

G., survivor of sexual harassment who was accompanied through legal proceedings

"I endured severe sexual assaults in childhood and later as an adult woman. Over the years, I felt as though all that remained of me was an empty shell—wounded, battered, aching, and shattered into countless tiny pieces. The Association, with all its incredible women, without an ounce of judgment and with healing, compassionate, and supportive hands, helped me and continues to help me gather these broken fragments and restore my essence. To remind me that it exists. That I exist.

When people say, ‘Whoever saves a single soul is as if they have saved an entire world,’ there is the simple, obvious meaning—that each person is a world unto themselves. But thanks to the wonderful women of the Association, I feel this statement in another way: intergenerational rescue.

When you save one soul, you save the generations to come.
This kind of rescue is both healing and prevention—and there is no greater work than this."
